It's tax war against New Jersey's citizens will have ended.

Angry about big government, reckless spending, powerful unions inside and outside government dictating tax policy. Angry about excessive taxation, which was forcing many of the state's wealthier residents to flee New Jersey in record numbers. New Jersians were tired of wearing the crown as the state with the worst business and tax climate in the nation. Governor Christie ran on a platform of lower taxes, smaller government, fiscal responsibility in government, and an end to the status quo in New Jersey, where the teachers union dictated the need for higher and higher taxes in order to feed their beast. Governor Christie did not waste any time after the election. He went right at the heart of New Jersey's problem,deadlines, the teachers union. This was something no Governor before him dared do.
They grew frustrated by the ineptness of GW Bush and his abandonment of conservative principles in favor of liberal, democratic, almost socialistic-like principles. In almost his entire first four years in office, GW did not veto one spending bill. This was strategic. He needed Congress to support his wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as his meaningless tax credits for individuals. Many conservatives understood that tax credits were just another form of reckless spending. With the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts the country's independents, Republicans and disillusioned moderate Democrats sent a powerful message that was loud and clear. We don't want socialism. We want the American Dream, smaller government and fiscal responsibility in our government.
